Beth: Office Manager
When you call or visit our office, you will be greeted by Beth. Beth has been working with Dr. Tijunelis for over five years. Prior to Lake County Plastic Surgery, she has had extensive experience with patients in the medical field. Her experience in talking with patients is evident in the way she can make people feel at ease. Beth is one of the most pivotal people in our office. She will help guide you through the process from initial appointment to surgery to follow-up appointments.

Chris: Circulating Nurse
Chris is a REGISTERED NURSE with a Master’s Degree in Nursing Management. Chris works as a PERIOPERATIVE NURSE making sure you are ready for your surgery and as the CIRCULATING NURSE in the operating room. The circulating nurse is responsible for managing the nursing care within the O.R. She observes the surgical team from a broad perspective and assists the team to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for your surgery. Her goal is to ensure that each member of the surgical sterile team performs in a unified effort.
Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing — Loyola University
- Master’s Degree of Nursing — Nursing Management — Loyola University
- Experience — 7 years Mental Health Nursing

Janet: Surgical Nurse
Janet is a REGISTERED NURSE with 35 years of experience in nursing and surgery. She is Dr. Tijunelis’ office nurse therefore she will meet with you during your pre-operative visits, prepare you for surgery and will see you at your post-operative visits. In addition, Janet is the SURGICAL NURSE and scrubs in with Dr. Tijunelis for your surgery. Janet will be involved in all aspects of your care at Lake County Plastic Surgery.

- Nursing Diploma Degree — Memorial Hospital School of Nursing — Springfield
- Experience: Plastic surgery nurse in office and operating room for nearly a decade

Amanda: Recovery Room Nurse
Amanda is a REGISTERED NURSE. Amanda will assist you with your recovery from surgery. As the RECOVERY ROOM NURSE, she will greet you as you awake from anesthesia frequently monitoring your vital signs and surgical sites in the recovery room. She will ensure that you are comfortable following your surgery and will review discharge and post-op instructions with you and your family.
Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree of Science — Northern Illinois University
- Associate’s Degree of Nursing — College of Lake County
- Experience — Also works at Advocate Condell Medical Center: RN on Cardiac/Intermediate Unit
