Dr. Amir Dorafshar

Dr.Amir Dorafshar has distinguished himself as an national and international leading expert in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Manchester School of Medicine, U.K. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Chicago and subsequently entered the Johns Hopkins program where he stayed on faculty for almost a decade prior to becoming the Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. He has pioneered several areas of plastic surgery and has co-authored more than 200 indexed articles, written several book chapters and co-edited textbooks.
