Dr.Amir Dorafshar has distinguished himself as an national and international leading expert in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Manchester School of Medicine, U.K. He completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Chicago and subsequently entered the Johns Hopkins program where he stayed on faculty for almost a decade prior to becoming the Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. He has pioneered several areas of plastic surgery and has co-authored more than 200 indexed articles, written several book chapters and co-edited textbooks. He has dedicated his life to perfecting an unmatched breadth of techniques in order to meet your needs, whatever they may be. 

Meet our New Nurse Injector,Lorena

I am an RN with a passion for helping men & women age gracefully and feel confident!

I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Loyola University in Chicago. I have been injecting since 2020, and I am also an ICU nurse at Advocate Condell in Libertyville. In 2021 I was honored with the prestigious DAISY Award for my exceptional patient care.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my loved ones, traveling, and embracing life's simple joys. I have three amazing children, a loving husband, one dog, four horses and a donkey.

I am excited and looking forward to helping Lake County Plastic Surgery patients achieve their beauty goals.
